Dr. Harris is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained Beverly Hills Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. A Southern gentleman at heart, Dr. Harris grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate degree at Elon University in North Carolina where he studied biology, chemistry, and the fine arts. He then spent almost a decade in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he completed his medical school training at Louisiana State University and then a highly selective head & neck surgery residency at the renowned Tulane University.
An Eye For Aesthetics
An artist from a young age, Dr. Harris found a natural passion for facial plastic surgery during his residency, where he was awarded one of just fifty coveted AAFPRS facial plastic surgery fellowship positions in the country. During his fellowship in Palo Alto, California, Dr. Harris had the unique opportunity to train with world-class mentors, work with and teach Stanford University residents, and perform the full spectrum of facial plastic and reconstructive procedures.
Dr. William Harris combines the precision of a surgeon with the creativity of an artist. His journey as a beauty explorer has taken him around the globe, from Australia to Peru to Germany and across the United States. As a global student of beauty, Dr. Harris customizes each procedure to enhance his patients' natural beauty.
Growing up, Dr. Harris was captivated by art and design, which led him to study Fine Arts in college alongside a rigorous Biology major. He then delved into human anatomy at the cellular level, earning a Master’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tulane University before obtaining his MD from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After completing his head and neck surgical residency at the renowned Tulane University, he pursued further training in facial plastic surgery through a prestigious AAFPRS fellowship in Palo Alto, California.
During his fellowship, Dr. Harris had the chance to train with world-class mentors and teach Stanford University residents while performing a wide range of facial plastic and reconstructive procedures. He then founded Harris Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, where he continues to provide top-notch care. When he's not in the operating room, Dr. Harris enjoys working with his hands through sculpting, painting, and drawing. He also loves traveling and discovering new cultures and destinations.
A Passion for charity work
Dr. Harris has a strong interest in medical charity work and has traveled internationally to various countries including Honduras, Haiti, and India, to provide medical services and surgery for those who have little or no access to care. In addition, he is honored to be an active and contributing surgeon member for the Face Forward organization, which offers support and pro-bono surgeries for domestic and international survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and cruel acts of crime. Outside of medicine, Dr. Harris has several hobbies, including golfing, skiing, painting, and traveling. He's happy to finally call Southern California home after years of planning and is eager to work with you to reach your cosmetic objectives.
